Farmers Market Stall Rental Rates

Inside Stall Size - 8' x 8' Outside Stall Size - 10' x 10' (May to October)

  • Thursday Stall Rate $14.16 + tax
  • Saturday Stall Rate $27.39 + tax
  • Hydro Fee - additional $1.75-$3.50 / day + tax

Stall Rate Discounts*

  • 25% discount attending 2 days / week
  • 45% discount MYPICK Verified / Organic Certified Farmers**

Stall rental fees are processed in equal monthly payments for the permit period. The below payment options are available:

  • Payment in full by the 1st day of the starting month on the permit 
  • 50% payment of stall fees due on the first day of the starting month on the permit with remaining balance due first day of the fourth month
  • Submission of post dated cheques for the 6 months within the permit period dated the 1st of the month
  • Submission of a credit card valid for the duration of the permit period. Payment will be processed on the 1st of the month
  • Cash payment for 1st and last month of the permit period due prior to starting with payments due on the last day of the month for the following month

I/We hereby submit my/our application for a stallholder’s space at the St. Catharines Farmers' Market and hereby state that all the information is true, accurate and complete. I /We acknowledge that submission of this application does not guarantee that I/we will be assigned a stall. I/We agree that if my/our application is approved, I/we will enter into a vendor agreement with the City of St. Catharines before I/we are assigned a stall. I/We understand that payment will be paid by the due date indicated on any issued permit and no refunds will be issued should applicant cancel thier permit before the end of the set period.

Please note: the market coordinator and City staff reserves the right to inspect vendor stalls that sell food and food products to ensure public health food handling practices are in compliance. Any vendor that fails to pass inspection will be temporarily suspended from public sales until food handling requirements are met without refund of stall fees.

Vendors that breach the Code of Conduct for the market, fail to pay for stall fees by the date indicated in thier permit, or fail to meet the 85% attendance requirement, will result in immediate termination of permit without refund of stall fees if applicable.
