Welcome to the Flood Waste Intake form

We know some residents are still working through cleanup, insurance claims and the removal of flood-damaged items. As enhanced waste collection winds down, we’re continuing to support those who still need help through targeted collection of flood-related waste.

St. Catharines residents requiring pickup the week of Aug. 24 will need to register by Friday, Aug. 21 at noon. Waste should be to the curb for collection on Monday, Aug. 24.

Registered addresses will be provided to Niagara Region and its waste collection contractors for pickup.

This is for personal household waste from the recent flooding only. General household cleanouts and contractor waste will not be collected.

See the Niagara Region website for more details on acceptable waste items for the curb.

Reminder:

Large bins will continue to be available at Bill Burgoyne Arena for St. Catharines residents who need to dispose of flood-related waste this week through to Saturday, Aug. 22 , and next week, Monday, Aug. 24 to Saturday, Aug. 29, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Proof of residency is required.

Tipping fees will continue to be waived at Humberstone Landfill and Bridge Street Waste and Recycling Drop-off Depot through Aug. 29 (one pickup truck or trailer is the maximum load).

Do you have additional flood-related debris to be collected?
