Boat launch parking pass application

Please complete the following form for a Boat Launch Parking Pass. Passes are valid from May 1, 2026 to Sept. 30, 2026. Passes are limited to one permit per household, with up to two trailer licence plates allowed for each permit. Multiple applications from the same household will not be considered. 

The price of a Boat Launch Parking Pass is $109.25. Upon review of your application City staff will contact you to arrange in-person payment at St. Catharines City Hall, 50 Church St.

Please note: parking spaces are limited and a pass does not guarantee a parking space.

Part D: Application Finalization

Important information:

1. The Boat Launch Parking Pass is only valid:
            • When displayed in the vehicle identifying the trailer plate it is issued to
            • For the specific period it has been issued
            • If the permit is clearly visible on the rearview mirror of the vehicle

2. The permit only exempts the vehicle from payment and time restrictions that are in place in the Sunset Beach boat launch parking lot. It does not exempt the vehicle from parking within any other metered parking area or for a period extending longer than the posted time limit.

3. The permit does not reserve or guarantee a parking space.

4. The permit does not relieve the holder from observing all other provisions of the Highway Traffic Act or Municipal By-laws.

5. Any vehicle found in violation will be subject to a ticket and/or towing at the owner’s expense, without notice.

6. The City reserves the right to cancel the privilege granted under this permit at any time without prior notice.

7. The City assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to your vehicle or its contents to fire, theft, collision, or any other cause.
