Flood Alleviation Rebate Program

The City’s Flood Alleviation Program provides rebates to help residents to install flood protection measures such as backwater valves and sump pumps. This program aims to reduce the risk of basement flooding and help make properties more resilient against the future impacts of climate change.

Due to increased demand for the Flood Alleviation Program (FLAP), we are currently experiencing a high volume of inquiries and applications. As a result, response times may be delayed.
Please expect a response within approximately two weeks.
