Application for a Community / Cultural Display

Thank you for your interest in applying to have a physical display to recognize a significant date or cultural event in the City of St. Catharines. Please ensure this form is filled out with as much detail as possible.

Before filling out this application, please review the eligibility criteria to see if your display can be permitted.

Deadlines to apply for a Community / Cultural Display:

Applications open annually on Nov. 1 for the subsequent calendar year and must be submitted at least eight weeks before the requested event date.

Requests are considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications and/or preferred locations may be denied based on availability.

All events must adhere to the functional eligibility requirements.

Note: The 2024 intake opened on Sept. 4, 2024, as a one-time exception.

Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee a permit will be issued.
