Civil Marriage Ceremony Request Form

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!

The Clerks Department at the City of St. Catharines issues Marriage Licences and performs civil ceremonies. You are required to obtain a Marriage Licence prior to having a ceremony in Ontario. A Marriage Licence will be valid anywhere in Ontario, for 3 months from the date of issue.

You may apply for your Marriage Licence here: www.stcatharines.ca/marriage. 

Ceremonies are performed at City Hall, during regular business hours.

STEP 1: Complete this form and click SUBMIT REQUEST. 
STEP 2: Call us to confirm your booking and submit payment (Important Note: your ceremony will not be accommodated if this step is not completed) 

NOTE: Some couples call us prior to completing this form to see which dates are available. During certain times of the year, we book up several weeks (or months) in advance. Though not required, we do encourage you to begin the process by calling us to check available dates.
